St. Peter

Description

As director of Christian Ed at St. Peter's, this is my third year of running a Sunday school and church food drive for Manna on Main Street in Lansdale, PA, our nearby food bank. Two years ago we collected more than 1200 items, and last year we were over 1400. We will finish the food drive this coming Sunday, so I don't have a final count yet, but we are over 1300 as of today.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church - North Wales

St. Peter's in North Wales is active in that regard in the following areas:

- We collect several thousand food items every year for Manna on Main Street and have permanent collection bins at the church
- We give several thousand dollars to Manna on Main Street through our Thrift Store proceeds every year
- We organize occasional volunteer trip to Philabundance
- We support ELCA World Hunger
