Description
Worship: We offer 5 different styles of worship each month, all on Sundays. Traditional worship following ELW Setting #2 is offered each Sunday at 7.30 AM. Our Living Faith Service is held weekly in our fellowship hall at 8.30 AM. In this service we use power point, child-friendly songs, and puppet skit and faith talk (dialog between leader and congregation) in place of a sermon. At 10.15 AM we offer a more blended worship informally following ELW #2.
On the second Sunday of each month we replace our 10.15 service with what we have named our GRACE (Gift Redeemed at Christ’s Expense) which is led by our Praise Band using contemporary music of a wide variety and power point. The sermon is divided up into 3 mini-messages given by the pastor and 2 lay persons.
Each week at least one of the readings is dramatically presented either by our pastor or a group of readers.
On the third Sunday of each month we offer a Rejoicing Spirits Service for the specially abled, their caregivers, family and friends at 3 PM. The format is very informal and often spontaneous using power point, piano, trumpet, drums and shakers.
